Hi there! I'm a film editor based in Los Angeles, with work featured at Tribeca, SXSW, BFI London, Busan International, and POV.

I started my editing journey at the University of Texas at Austin media labs, where I edited my professor Nancy Schiesari's ITVS-funded film “Tattooed Under Fire.” The filmmaker Richard Linklater called it, "a sensitive and heartbreaking journey into the psychological casualties of war." After that, I moved to Los Angeles and earned my MFA at UCLA. I also produced and edited social justice content for the California Endowment for some time. I returned to full-time editing with “Land of My Father” directed by Matthew Koshmrl.

In 2020, I was honored as the 10th Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellow while editing and co-writing the feature documentary "Liquor Store Dreams" (Tribeca 2022, aired on POV: July 10, 2023) directed by So Yun Um. Film critic Peter Sobczynski called it "one of those quietly powerful films that should prove to have a devastating and emotional impact on all who are lucky to see it." Following this, I had a chance to work on my mentor Miranda Yousef's directorial debut, "Art for Everybody" (SXSW 2023), and the music documentary "New Wave" (Tribeca 2024), directed by Elizabeth Ai.

Most recently, I worked on the "Untitled K-Pop Documentary" (premieres 2025) with co-directors Grace Lee and Patty Ahn for Tremolo Productions. Whether it's vérité, archival, music, or personal films, I take pleasure in crafting character-driven stories with a sense of unfolding mystery.
